1. To check the temperature of the SKF bearing when rotating, if the oil hole can directly measure the temperature of the outer ring of the bearing, it is more appropriate. Under normal circumstances, the temperature of the bearing can generally be inferred based on the temperature of the outer surface of the bearing.
2. Check the sound of the bearing rolling because even if the bearing has a slight peel and other damage, it will emit abnormal and irregular sounds, so the sound detector can be used to distinguish, and the sound detector is used to check the size and sound quality of the bearing rolling sound in operation, which plays a role in early prevention.
3. Check the vibration of SKF bearings in the working from peeling, indentation, rust, cracks, wear, etc. will be reflected in the vibration measurement of the bearing, bearing vibration is very sensitive to bearing damage, therefore, by using a special bearing vibration measuring device (frequency analyzer, etc.) can measure the size of the vibration, through the frequency can not infer the specific situation of the abnormality.
Whether on the shaft or in the housing, SKF bearings are required to hold their position in three directions: radial, axial and tangential. Radial and tangential positioning is achieved by tight fitting of bearing rings, whereas axial positioning is only in a few cases with tight fit.
